DESCRIPTION:The Monthly Sandoval County ARES in-person meeting is held on the third Monday of each month at 1900 MST/MDT at the Fire Station on Stephanie Road (see map below). We enter the building via the side door\, behind the locked gate. Give a call on the 147.10 MHz Repeater (100 Hz PL) or honk your horn to be let in. Meetings typically last about 1.5 hours. You do not have to be an ARES member to attend\, the Public is welcome.

SUMMARY:Cedro Peak Trail Run
DESCRIPTION:The Cedro Peak Trail Run offers a 50k\, Heavy Half Marathon (`15 miles)\, and a 5k. This race takes place in the Cibola National Forest located in the mountains just outside Albuquerque\, New Mexico. The race takes place on mostly single-track trails that wind through pinon and ponderosa pine forests. There are technical/rocky sections and some steep climbs as well as fast flattish meadow sections. This race really has it all– including gorgeous views of the Sandia Mountains! It is an event for the seasoned ultra runner as well as those who are new to trail running. The race is put on by local trail and ultra runners with the support of volunteers
