DESCRIPTION:Whether you are a new or long-time ham; whether your interests are chatting on the repeaters\, chasing DX\, emergency communications\, QRP\, contesting\, club activities\, technical experimentation\, digital modes\, or anything else…don’t miss a great ham radio event that will be attended by hundreds of Hams from across the Division — composed of Colorado\, New Mexico\, Utah\, and Wyoming — and from across the country. \nThis year’s Convention will take place on the beautiful campus of St. Pius X High School (5301 St. Josephs Dr NW\, Albuquerque\, NM 87120). \nThe central theme of this year’s Convention is “(Re)Discovering the Thrill of Ham Radio”. Every event making up the Convention will be tied to this theme as a reflection of just how great ham radio\, its activities\, its traditions\, and its people are. The Convention’s organizing committee is planning to fill the Convention with enjoyment and activities that amateur radio operators and families alike will enjoy. \nThe 2023 ARRL Rocky Mountain Division Convention is proudly being organized by Rocky Mountain Ham Radio.

DESCRIPTION:The Monthly Sandoval County ARES in-person meeting is held on the third Monday of each month at 1900 MST/MDT at the Fire Station on Stephanie Road (see map below). We enter the building via the side door\, behind the locked gate. Give a call on the 147.10 MHz Repeater (100 Hz PL) or honk your horn to be let in. Meetings typically last about 1.5 hours. You do not have to be an ARES member to attend\, the Public is welcome.
